Nasza historia

Bezdomna Lessie, bo tak daliśmy jej na imię, dopiero co trafiła pod naszą opiekę… Skołtuniona sierść, wychudzenie, trudności z chodzeniem, bolesność tylnej łapy, przewracanie się – RTG wykazał stare, bardzo źle zrośnięte złamanie kości i …dodatkowo zwichnięcie stawu biodrowego w tej samej łapie. W poniedziałek Lessie przeszła skomplikowaną operację ponownego "łamania" źle zrośniętej kości, przeszczepu fragmentu kości z obojczyka i stabilizacji wszystkich kawałków specjalnymi płytkami. Operacja się powiodła, mimo znacznego krwawienia i konieczności przetoczenia krwi podczas zabiegu. Lessie się wybudziła prawidłowo, nawet wstawała… Kolejna operacja – tym razem nastawienia zwichniętego stawu miała być przeprowadzona za 3 tygodnie. Miała być, bo rano Lessie poczuła się źle. Mimo starań lekarzy z kliniki jej stan szybko się pogarszał, nie reagowała na leki, nie mogła się poruszać. Diagnoza: zator. Lessie odeszła za Tęczowy Most w samo południe. Nie była już bezimienna, nie była już bezdomna, nie była głodna, ale ślepy los okrutnie sobie z niej, po raz kolejny, bezczelnie zakpił…
