Wyjątkowy koń z wyjątkowymi perypetiami.

Jesienią 2015 roku, na prośbę Fundacji Nasza Szapa, został odkupiony od handlarza piękny Zulus.

Zulus od małęgo miał problemy zdrowotne – urodził się z przykurczem nogi, w pierwszych tygodniach po narodzinach dostał ataku kolki, i jego życie wisiało na włosku. Walkę wygrał. Później, niestety, stracił wzrok w jednym oku.

Zulus, przekazany przez właścicielką pod opiekę Fundacji Nasza Szkapa, został później przekazany na zasadach adopcji do, jak się wydawało, osób zaufanych.

Niestety ludzie zawodzą.

Po rocznej udanej współpracy z domem adopcyjnym, okazało się, że koń trafił do handlarza, gdzie został rozpoznany przez osobę znającą konia z pensjonatu.

Dzięki błyskawicznej reakcji już następnego dnia Zulus stał bezpieczny w swoim starym boksie…

Piękny Zulus ur się 2009 roku. Nie widzi na jedno oko, kocha kare wałachy. Ludzi i ogrodzenia traktuje jednoznacznie – biorąc taranem.

U Zulusa zauważono niepokojąco wielkie pragnienie. Badania krwi wykazały u niego cukrzycę.

W związku z tą poważną chorobą podstawą żywieniową Zulusa jest siano, otręby pszenne, wysłodki buraczane i olej roślinny.

Dodatkowo Zulusa obowiązują regularne badania krwi,a dokładniej poziomu insuliny i przyswajalności glukozy.
