Elfik od września jest w nowej stajni. Małe sprawozdanie od adoptującej:

„Elfik wszedł do przyczepy bez problemu W nowej stajni na początku poszliśmy na trawę żeby trochę się odstresować po podróży. Potem rozgościł się w swoim nowym boksie. A jak widać na załączonym obrazku tarzanie na padoku to już oznaka pełnej swobody”

Młody, nie zajeżdżony wałach, ślepy na jedno oko czeka na dom.

Niedawno przyjechał do stajni pod Zieloną Górą. Jest wyjątkowo płochliwy, jednakże bardzo ciekawski, więc wierzymy, że szybko nabierze pewności siebie i sam będzie do nas podchodził w boksie. Na miejscu odkryliśmy, że nie tylko oko stanowi problem, ma też popękane wszystkie kopyta. Na szczęście nasz kowal to cudotwórca, więc na pewno mu je wyprowadzi.

Dziś Elf to nieduży, gniady koń kulący się w rogu ciasnego ciemnego boksu.

Jeszcze rok temu stał w pięknej państwowej stadninie, a przed nim stała kariera wyścigowa. Wiódł beztroskie życie nieświadom tego, jak okrutnie świat obchodzi się z wieloma jego braćmi.

Los jednak zaśmiał się również z Elfa.

Zakłute na wybiegu oko. Utrata wzroku. Życie Elfa zmieniło się w ciągu paru dni. Odjechał w ciężarówce betonową drogą po zmroku, nikt się za nim nie obejrzał.

Takich niedoszlych czempionów wyjechało tą drogą już wielu. Ciasny, ciemny boks. Elf stoi tam z paroma innymi konmi. Na wszystkie handlarz znalazł kupców, Elf nie miał szczęścia. Bo kto zechce niewidomego, małego, płochliwego konia… los Elfa jest przesądzony.
