Skipper

Harlan Coben wrote, “he who saves one life saves the whole world. So we make choices.” And although I know that they are not always easy, today you can choose and give Skipper a second chance. Save one life, and therefore the whole world. Even if no one else notices, even if nothing changes in anyone else’s life, Skipper’s world will become brighter.

I also know that maybe it’s not fair that I’m giving you this choice today. You might wish you never knew Skipper’s story and never found out what kind of person a person can be towards animals. Maybe you would prefer not to read again about a dog that was so hurt and suffered so much. But Skipper is a defenseless puppy, and he already knows what pain is. And he needs someone to help him through this. Hurt, abandoned, left on the street, he clings to the belief that this is not the end. He still has a lot of treatments, tests and visits to the vet ahead of him, because it is already known that he is malnourished and dehydrated. His condition is critical. He has scabies, his body is covered with parasites, and his body is very weak.

Skipper was abandoned. Someone saw the owners throw him out of the car and drive away. They left him for dead and treated him as an unnecessary thing. Friendly volunteers took him to the vet. As you already know, it arrived there in very poor condition. The helpless dog found himself in a completely unfamiliar place and had no idea what was waiting for him behind the clinic doors. And no one could explain to the scared dog that he had been abandoned and would never return to his home. No one dared to promise him that everything would be fine, because it was difficult to predict what the next days would bring. But we will do everything to ensure that nothing bad happens in Skipper’s life again. However, all this won’t be possible without you. So please make your choice and decide if you can and want to save Skipper’s life. Save his whole world.
