Minie dużo czasu zanim Pumba poczuje się u nas jak w domu. Najpierw musi nam zaufać i uwierzyć, że wszyscy jesteśmy tu dla niego. Zrobimy wszystko, by ten koński staruszek był w końcu spokojny i nie spoglądał przerażony na człowieka. Już nigdy nie będzie sam, o to nie musicie się martwić. Cierpliwie będziemy uczyć go nowego życia i obserwować jak robi postępy. Wierzymy, że Pumba odnajdzie się wśród innych, ocalonych zwierzaków.
