Nasza historia

Kasia ma tylko 12 lat. I choć tak mówi jej metryka, sama Kasia wygląda na lat 20. Spracowane i opuchnięte nogi, wystające kręgosłup i żebra, kiepska sierść. Zmęczenie w oczach i brak chęci do życia. Tylko smętnie buja się na krótkiej linie. Cierpi na chorobę sierocą, która rozwija się u koni, gdy nie są zaspokojone ich podstawowe potrzeby.

Kasia to zwykły wiejski koń, który całe życie pracował dla człowieka. Pracowała w gospodarstwie przy wozie, pracowała też przy zrywce drewna. Zapewne w międzyczasie też rodziła, bo zwykłe wiejskie kasie co roku muszą rodzić. Odarta z godności, pozbawiona własnej woli, latami brana na służbę u ludzi. Dziś, gdy się zużyła i stała zbędna, w podzięce za lata posłuszeństwa, stanęła u handlarza, czekając na wyrok.

 

Kupił ją handlarz. To duża klacz, miała się odpaść i przynieść dobry zysk. Ale spracowaną i zniszczoną Kasię ciężko utuczyć, więc nawet handlarz nie chce jej trzymać.

Wspólnie możemy ocalić Kasię, ale potrzeba 4500 zł, by ją odkupić i przewieźć.

Mamy czas tylko do 7 grudnia, by podarować jej życie.
