Łaciata Beti. Być może wielu z Was mijało ją przechadzając się ulicami Ciechocinka, gdzie Beti posłusznie stała w kolejce ze swoją dorożką, oczekując na turystów. Potem woziła ich ulicami Ciechocinka, zawsze posłuszna, łagodna, bez granic oddana swojemu Panu. Beti mimo swojej niepospolitej urody – nie wygrała losu na loterii. Praca w dorożce to praca dla konia bardzo ciężka, niezależnie od skwaru, bez swobody ruchu. Po latach takiej codziennej, wytężonej pracy łaciata przestała być potrzebna – ekonomia okazała się ważniejsza i przemówiła na jej niekorzyść. Właściciel oczywiście szukał kupca poprzez ogłoszenia – ale odzew był żaden. Kilka osób obejrzało Beti, niemniej za kwotę 3500,00 zł można dziś przebierać w koniach idących na rzeź z braku innej opcji.

Beti nie miała szczescia.. właściciel zdecydował się sprzedać w końcu klacz na rzeź, gdyż ze względu na brak klientów na dorożkę oraz kupno Beti – nie był w stanie podołać temu finansowo.

Beti została skazana w wieku 9 lat na ostatnią podróż.
